This is my theme projects. For my theme protects my original idea was to make closed form doughnuts but that did not work out to good. Then I later found these clay "cookie" cutters and decided to make some Christmas themed cookies because it was right before break, at that time. The three plates I made were thrown using the wheel with all about the same sizes of clay to get a unity look. My favorite part about this project was being able to be creative with my imaginary, when painting the stain on these projects. I glazed the projects using green, blue, white, red and black stain to get color to these projects. The colors give this project some what of a unity/harmony since each one is in a Christmas theme. These plates have a very good shape and each has a good balance of clay in each. These theme projects represented the spirit of giving and innocence. The intended purpose for this project is to keep the innocent minds believing in Santa and to leave him cookies and carrots for his reindeer in exchange for gifts to open of Christmas morning.
