Justice should be served to those who deserve it and revenge is used by those who desire it. In life and in this society we live in as a human, “The world is made up of two classes, the hunters and the huntees “ (Connell). You are either someone that needs justice in society or needs to be given revenge. It is the survival of the fittest, the weaker ones will not live, the strong ones will. General Zaroff is getting his “revenge and is showing it mostly through acting out” on rainsford (Seltzer). General Zaroff was experiencing revenge and is acting out in a very physical manner. To not have to deal with revenge don't do anything that could make you regret or learn from your mistakes. After the sniper made it to the corpse dodging bullets, he “turned over the dead body and looked into his brother's face” (O’Flaherty). In this special case justice should be given to the dead brother and revenge should be given to the sniper. As the sniper he should learn from this lesson and shot only people that he needs to and prebably not another brother. One receives Justice when their actions have consequences and one acts in revenge when justice needs to be served.
